This platter didn't look as good as I was expecting. It's ok but not impressive enough to justify the price. I have some spode plates of the same type that I purchased years ago and there is a difference in quality. I don't know if they changed the process they use to make the dishes or what but I was not as happy with this platter as I was with the plates.
